Narrated shorts, made from words
Write a line.
Get a narrated short.
Give it a topic and the narration is drafted for you, or paste a script and it is read word for word. Every beat gets a picture in the look you choose, a narrator records it, and captions follow each spoken word.
- 10 looks · 10 voices
- About 30, 45 or 60 seconds
- 1080×1920 MP4
- From 15 credits
How it works
From a sentence to a short in three moves
- Step 1
Start with words
Type a topic in a line, or paste a script you have already written. A topic is drafted into narration sized to the length you pick; a script is read word for word.
- Step 2
Choose how it looks and sounds
Pick one of ten looks, from film noir to chalkboard, and one of ten narrator voices. The look sets the pictures, the caption colour and the way the narrator delivers the lines.
- Step 3
Get a finished vertical video
Each beat gets its own picture, the voiceover is recorded, captions are timed to every spoken word, and it all lands as a 1080×1920 MP4 in your library.
Inside every short
Voice, pictures and captions, made together
A narrator with a mood
Ten voices, each asked to deliver in the mood of the look: a dry detective for noir, a patient teacher for chalkboard, a gallery guide for oil paintings.
One picture per beat
The narration is split into five to eight beats and every beat gets a picture planned from its own lines. Pick stills with slow camera moves, or have each still animated.
Captions that follow the voice
Caption timings are measured from the recorded voiceover itself, word by word, and the highlight in each line is driven by those measurements.

Answers
Questions people ask
- What do I need to get started?
- A Google account to sign in and some credits. There is no footage to film, nothing to record and no editing software involved: a topic or a script is the only input.
- Do I have to write the narration?
- Only if you want to. Give a topic and an AI writer drafts narration sized to the length you picked. Paste a script instead and it is read word for word, with the AI planning only the pictures and the title.
- How long does a short take?
- Shorts with still pictures usually finish within a few minutes. Motion takes longer, since every picture is animated separately. You can leave the page while it renders; the short appears in My shorts when it is done.
- What do I get at the end?
- A 1080×1920 MP4 with the narration, pictures and captions combined, and a page that lists each beat next to its picture. Shorts are private unless you choose to publish them.
- Who owns the shorts I make?
- You do. How that works is explained in the terms of service. Copyright is handled differently from one country to another, so please ask a lawyer where you live if you need a firm answer.
- Is anything free?
- The samples are, to watch as often as you like. Making a short uses credits, starting at 15 for a short built from still pictures; new accounts begin with none.
